Children and youth are a key part of our family at Redeemer Church.

We really love each one of our young people and want them to learn about, discover and become passionate about God in a safe, fun, environment. We want them to be able to explore who Jesus is in a way that is meaningful to them, whilst making lots of friends along the way.

At present our children’s and youth groups are taking place on zoom, on Sundays at the following times:

Kids’ zoom (preschool to Year 3): 4:30pm

Ignite zoom (Years 4-6): 6pm

Youth zoom (Year 7+): 11:45am

During these meetings, we spend time worshipping, praying, learning to read the Bible and playing games, as well as enjoying being able to see our friends! We have a fantastic team of adults who provide biblical teaching, mixed with lots of fun. All our kids’ workers are experienced and accountable, and passionate about seeing children and youth grow in their faith.

A few times a year, we also hold family services where the children stay in the main meeting and we all learn about and worship God together. These services are great fun, and involve something for the whole family!

We hope to be able to meet in person again soon. In the meantime, why not try some of our Stay-at-Home Resources for Families?

Also, enjoy the Spring weather, have some fun, and learn the true meaning of Easter by completing our all-age Hunt for Easter!

On top of our Sunday provision, Redeemer Tots is is a mid-week toddler group, offering a friendly space for pre-school (0-4) kids to play, get stuck in with craft and sensory activities, enjoy story and song time, and where parents and carers can have a cuppa and chat.

The group isn’t running at the moment due to lockdown, but will be restarting in September 2021 (if not before!) at The Beacon, CLS. Day and time TBC, but watch this space!

In order to ensure that our church is a safe and welcoming place for all children, all of our children and youth team have been appropriately DBS checked and receive regular safeguarding training that is relevant to their role. If you have any questions about this, please email Joy and Dennis, who head up our children’s work, at
