The best way to find out more about us is to come along and meet us in person!
At the moment we are not meeting physically but we are still joining together online for our Sunday morning services and we would love for you to join us. Our service starts at 10.30am and lasts for around an hour. You can join us on Zoom (sign up to E-News for details) or watch live on Facebook. Everyone is welcome and it is a great way to see what church is like from the comfort of your own home! We have a time of worship led from the home of one of our gifted worship-leaders, video clips about life around the church, family news, a bible-based message and a time of prayer. Children’s resources are available too, sign up to E-News to receive these each week.
The service itself is informal and relaxed, and we gather together people from various backgrounds and ages, and at different stages of their journey with Jesus. No matter where you are in your faith, or what questions you have, you are welcome here! When we return to meeting together physically our friendly welcome team are always on hand to point you in the right direction, and to introduce you to people.
Each service starts with a lively time of worshipping God through song, during which time we welcome people to bring contributions from the front as God leads them
This is followed by a teaching from the Bible of around 30 minutes, when the children go next door for separate groups. We have a fantastic team of adults who provide biblical teaching, mixed with lots of fun, for children and youth, divided into different age groups. For more information about this, see our Children & Youth page.
Each week, the meeting usually then finishes with a time of response to the Bible teaching through more sung worship and prayer. We also have a dedicated prayer ministry team who are available to speak to during this time if you wish to receive prayer and support for anything. As we currently meet online, we have an option to join a Zoom meeting with our prayer ministry team following the meeting.
However, our time together as family doesn’t end there! When we are able to meet together in person, we also enjoy a shared lunch together, once a month after our service, which is a great chance to meet new people.
We believe that church is a community of people who don’t just meet on Sunday mornings, but who share their lives with each other. As well as our Sunday morning meetings, we have been away to the Lake District for the weekend together and we also meet regularly during the week over Zoom. More details about this can be found in the Get Involved section of our website.
Please note: We want our church to be a welcoming environment where people of all ages and backgrounds can feel and be safe. In order to ensure this, photography or recording of meetings is not permitted without prior consent. If you have any questions, please get in touch.
